Greatwoods Relief

I spoke with my teacher Alison this morning and after what I told her what happened in the meeting, she felt that it would be to risky to create the documentary and felt it best that I find something else to do.

Once I finished the phone call with Alison I called up Greatwood straight away that I wouldn't be going through with the documentary and I think there was some big releaf there.

But I am really disappointed as Greatwood has done so much for me, its such a shame to not do something to give back to them. 

Lucky I have a back up!

Meet with Helen

It has taken me a while to set up with Helen Yeadon who started up Greatwood 1998 with her Husband Micheal Yeadon.

Today's meeting didn't go to plan, I understand that the is the child protection act as Greatwood do deal with venerable children.

The program which the children go through is called Horse Power, and they have six different courses.

From our dissociation, the only course I could film is 'Get Going' program which is for ages of 16-25 years, the only problem with it that is starts next week and only runs for a week and the dangers of it is would there being anything to follow afterwards?. So I'm going to take a day or two to think about it and speak to my teachers Alison Khan, and she what she thinks.

Blue Card

This is my blue card that Oxford Brookes University provided for me, so that I do not lose marks for my spelling nor grammar as I am very dyslexic.

First Idea

I have volunteered at Greatwood a ex-racehorse charity where the help abandoned racehorses and re-home them. Greatwood also works along side vulnerable children, and I would love to create a documentary showing both the horsey side and the child side of Greatwood.

Documentary Ideas

I have been thinking loads on what type of documentary I would like to create. About is a mind-map of all the ideas that I have come up with so far. They are not in order, but at least if some of them don't work out I have back ups.
